anyone fitted half doors to there car?

if so where did you get them from have you some pics fitted and how are they secured?

as far as i remember the caterham ones are secured with poppers like the full doors.

I have ones on my car. They are GRP and supplied from RAW. Prescriptive for the Striker so wont hit others.

My Avatar shows them. Secured via rivnuts and screws. I think they are actually the full doors cut down but are very neat.

I have some for sale with elbow bulge for extra arm room these are fitted with press studs
They are in sales section

how do you find them ok? do you just climb over the top to get in?

I used caterham style split hinges so that the doors lift off if required.

I have fabric ones on mine, made by a landy soft top specialist local to me.

The advantage I find is that they can be rolled up into the boot.

There are many things that are quite difficult to fabricate on these cars. This isn't one of them. Just make a template from cardboard, and have at it.
