anyone fitted half doors to there car?
if so where did you get them from have you some pics fitted and how are they secured?
thanks
as far as i remember the caterham ones are secured with poppers like the full doors.
Look at softbits for sevens website, they make them
I have ones on my car. They are GRP and supplied from RAW. Prescriptive for the Striker so wont hit others.
My Avatar shows them. Secured via rivnuts and screws. I think they are actually the full doors cut down but are very neat.
I have some for sale with elbow bulge for extra arm room these are fitted with press studs
They are in sales section
Drop me a u2u if you want pics and size.

I used caterham style split hinges so that the doors lift off if required.
I have fabric ones on mine, made by a landy soft top specialist local to me.
The advantage I find is that they can be rolled up into the boot.
Half doors
ATB Dan.
Some photos in my archive of my home made fiber half doors, just finished so not been out to try.
...i built them into the tonneau cover....
There are many things that are quite difficult to fabricate on these cars. This isn't one of them. Just make a template from cardboard, and have at it.
Simple to make fabric half doors and half hood
