hi need to secure my bonnet in two places to stop it rattleing when on the move, want something neat and tidy didnt really want big up and over catchs
like on the sides of the car
any ideas?
its either side of this inlet pipe
thank you
A nice sexy AEROCATCH would do the job or dowel pins from the bonnet into the nose cone.

I would suggest glassing something to the underside to make a lip...
+1 for aerocatch. they're simple to fit, flush, locking if you need it, weigh nothing.
like this one?

Yup - I've got them on my fury, after my original fittings (I adapted TVR strikers and sliders so that I could mount the whole lot inboard and
make it look very neat. All well and good until the cables started popping off. Not TVRs fault I may add.
Then went to aerocatches - they're not expensive for the time and ease of fitting.

Just go hunting for the cheapest.
IIRC, they do a couple of different sizes, and locking or not. You have choices.

Aerocatches are massive though, you don't want one of them either side of that inlet it'll look weird in my opinion, get dzus fastners or
something subtle like that.
If you fancy aerocatches go ahead but check the dims first and cut some out of cardboard and lay em on the bonnet first. Once you've cut em in
there's no going back

Sure - ping me when you're over. I'm rebuilding at the moment so there's lots going on.
I think Stott has a point - will you be happy with the size? Also, they take paint, so you can make them vanish a bit
thanks

what's wrong with these? They hold mine and others on very well, with no vibration problems.
