What have people done for this, round or square section, bent at ends, a complete bar or two short peices one each sied a la caterham, and are they stable enough- caterham seem to use an add'l stay to stiffen.

mk make a really nice one for under £20

its top quality and looks good

just bought one a coople of weeks ago

leaves the lights lower than on a caterham tho, but i think it looks better that way

I cut and bent a piece of 20mm*40mm RHS, not to bad once it's fully welded.

See attached pic.

All the best Dan.

Mangogrove... your avatar!

Why is the cat stuck to your carpet lined wall?

James - 14/5/04 at 03:12 PM

I wondered if he'd just thrown a cat against a wall!

Poor thing! Call the RSPCA!

Looks like the one my mate had. He fitted a magnetically operated catflap to the door and put a magnet on the cats collar. Waited outside for twenty minutes to see if the thing worked then gave up and went in to find the cat stuck to the fridge.

It's a story I like, not the truth.

I used a piece of flat 5mm welded to the top chassis bar but I had to put an upstand on th reach the height for sva. Rescued attachment lampbracket.JPG

Offhand I think it's minimum 450mm to the bottom of the illuminated area and not more than 400mm from the extreme outside edge of the vehicle for headlamps 350mm for front indicators and similar from edge. There was a draft copy of the regs on the net but I think it's been removed now, I have a copy somewhere if you want it.

JoelP - 14/5/04 at 10:10 PM

my indicator brackets got put in today, the indicators will span from 350mm to 400mm in from the edge of the wheel. is this suffcient?! they may not be high enough anyway....

alfasudsprint - 14/5/04 at 10:28 PM

Pete,
yeah, how can i get that copy???
thanks
