hmmm, just cut the hole in my bonnet to clear my homemade airbox, the airbox sits approx 85mm above the bonnet line at the leading edge
will i need to cover this with a scoop for sva, didn't really want to fit one...

get the manifold polished and a nice bit of trimming around the hole and that will look CLASS!

i have always thought that polished stainless/ali looks fantastic sticking out of the bonnet!

Don't bother with a scoop!

Thankyou

Its just the sharp edges i'm concerned about for the sva, is it 2mm min rad.?
I can put some rads on the airbox edges, and trim the bonnet hole but the actual servo motor is sticking above the bonnet line, so i assume this would have to be covered with something?

You could make a little matching cover for the servo motor out of ali?

Were there not instructions on how to make a scoop somewhere, CKC maybe? Can somebody point us in the correct direction? I'll be needing one, as my plenum sticks up and won't look good if visible (it's a turbo engine).

Mind made up. Going to trim the edges, rad the airbox sufficiently and make a cover for the servo, thanks for the comments everyone!

Oh yeh, what would be the best trim for the bonnet, the stuff that i've got (metal reinforced type) won't fit on as the bonnet is too thick in places and it doesn't like tight bends...?

How about a clear lexan vacuum formed one. That way you still get the looke i.e. the polished ally cover but keep Mr SVA happy
