Bodywork fitting query
StevenB - 13/11/08 at 10:54 PM

Hi,

Before I start to hack away at this can anyone advise as to the best way to cut back and fit the bulkhead tray and scuttle?

I would rather take as little as possible out
of the scuttle.

Cheers

Ah! I thought the scuttle went over the top
of the tray and at the same time hiding the top
cut edge of the tray.
Thank God for that. Talk about "if in doubt - ask"

Cheers

Steve

That sure looks nice. Why does everyone else's seem to look so good while mine looks like shit?

Where are those panels from and will they fit a homebuild book locost?

The Haynes Roadster book tells you how to make them. Those in white just have an extra lip on it on the front, which helps with the look, and I guess drainage. I've run out of ally, so I can't do that.

The Gibbs breaks it down into two halves, which is easier to bend.

All the panels in the pictures (apart from the carbon fibre aeroscreen on the white car) are from MK. I'm not sure which, if any, would fit a home built book locost though. (Other than front and rear wings)
