It originated as telling the difference between black and brown bears. I first saw it in Canada where pepper spray and bells are carried by walkers
to prevent bear attacks. The lion thing doesn't really work as baby Lions don't eat berries.
quote: In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bear conflicts, the Montana Department of Fish and Game is advising hikers, hunters, and
fishermen to take extra precautions, and keep alert of bears while in the field.
We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on their clothing so as not to startle bears that aren't expecting them. We also advise
outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in case of a encounter with a bear.
It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear
scat:
Black bear scat is smaller and contains lots of berries and squirrel fur.
Grizzly bear scat is larger, has little bells in it, and smells like pepper.
p.s. General opinion was that pepper spray doesn't work against Brown Bears, it just p*sses them off even more.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

It's a spoof. Big lion poo will contain clothing and human bone fragments

^ Well I didn't know that lions could digest bells.
I like to learn something new every day.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
