The bit at the end impressed me: "many people are buying one for each side of the bed..."

How paranoid do you need to be to need two of them?
I'll just sleep in the buff and flip the covers off, that should scare them off.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Would you let the wife have one and not be able to return fire?
Anyway, for home defense you need a folding stock and an eleven round extension tube.
A stainless steel Remington Wingmaster being the toy of choice.

What about keeping ammo locked away from the weapons? I've always wondered what these people say to an evil Taliban intruder as he enters your bedroom looking for jewelry to fund international terrorism:

"Um, just hang on a sec, I've gotta go get my bullets". Once you find them, you supposedly have time to load up, get some light on the target and fire away while he waits.

They are so mixed up down there it's crazy. They can't even interpret their own constitution properly. But trust me, they ALL have a gun somewhere and "self defense" is a legitimate excuse to shoot somebody dead as a doornail.
