2 and a 1/2 parking spaces, must be keen to look after it.

Makes it's easier for the skip lorry to pick it up

let me get this straight, that is actually your car and that is you standing next to it whilst someone took a picture?

and you then thought it a good idea to post it on this website?

what sort of feedback are you expecting?

I think it makes a lot more sense than wings on the back of front wheel drives where all the forces generated tend to unload the front wheels.

He He, I posted yesterday a question on the legality of front aerofoils and mentioned that I had one on my old Bluey. Someone asked for a pic so here it is…

I was off at Asda getting shopping so put the camera on a trolley so took advantage off all the lights. Chucked it on here to cheer you all up, can’t offend me with you comments, I’m immune.

I have a huge double spoiler on the back, you can see that atrocity in my archives if your still feeling depressed.

Oh yeah thought I’d mention that although the spoilers do work very well, combined they knock approx 15mph off the top speed and you do notice the fuel going down quicker, plus there's a lot off wind noise.

Please tell me that isn't a 1600

I'm almost ashamed to say I've had a couple of Bluebirds.... I inherited a 1600 with very low miles when I was at university and I have to say it realy wasn't that bad if a bit underpowered. Someone then virtualy gave me a ZX Turbo which was most entertaining in a 'I'm going to kill you' kind of way

Never heard the term Barry Boy before just boy racer. Nope not a 1600 though the other one is, just a 1800 auto. Not a fast car in the slightest though very quite (about 30kg's of soundproofing added) and extremely comfy on long journey’s which it was meant for. I just love stripes on a car and had about 5 cars with them.

People take cars to seriously, they should be fun...

best thing for it is use the adjustable trailing arms at the rear for a locost. The good bit is you need to destroy two bluebirds to get enough of them

Your rear track control arms make great adjustable rear arms for your locost Rescued attachment BluebirdTrailingArms.jpg

I thought your were joking about the track rods! Nice one they are well made.

There are at least 6 bluey's on the go in Aberdeen, use to be a fleet of taxi's only 3 years ago. I think that one is in the best condition of the ones I've seen. I'm not a fanatic fan or anything, just enjoy the car.

Yip some speed bumps are impossible to get over but I know where they are and just avoid them. Had thought of using a pneumatic piston powered by the engines vacuum to raise and lower it.

I took the car to a show last year with a friend, certainly got a lot of attention and even had a photographer take pictures though I don't know what for.
