My mother in laws brother livers in Emsworth, near Portsmouth. he used to have his own engineering works supplying MOD and Rolls Royce.
He is now 92, he has an electric disability scooter which he has converted to 48v, he rewound the motor himself - last year! He has made a new battery
holder and sprayed to colour.
His wife of 65 years died 3 years ago, but now has a new girl friend who he sees on a regular basis.
The conversion to the disability aid is unauthorised as he doesn't actually own it - but you should see him laugh as he describes it, he can
actually leave 11's as he accelerates!
I hope, if I actually reach anything near his age, that I have the same attitude to life, a mischievousness, and sheer love of life is so refreshing.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I liked the one with the wall of death... he puts a crash helmet on to go up and down the ladder cos he hates heights, but takes it off to ride the
