A correct sentance with five ands in a row!

A sign writer painted a pub sign for the FrogandToad. The lanlord told him he had missed the spaces between Frog and and and and and Toad.

And here's one with a few "Hads" punctuated to make some sense:

John, where Susan had had "had had", had had "had", "had had" had been the right answer.

That first doesn't make sense. Surely it'd be Frogand and and and and and toad. If you wanted it to be the Frog and Toad then it would surely be Frog and and and and and Toad.

Easier with more punctuation

The lanlord told him he had missed the spaces between "Frog" and "and" and "and" and "Toad".

I've read that aloud five times and still I'm too stupid to understand it

Susan had a sentence with two "had's" in it and John had the same sentence with only one "had" Susan's use of 2 "had's" was correct and john's wrong.

You obviously need to be in the opposite state of innebriation to what you currently are to understand it.

You can get another 'had' in there:

John, where Susan had had "had had", had had "had", "had had" had had the teacher's approval.

The teacher said that that 'that' that that boy had written should have been in blue ink

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

Reminds me of Round the Horne!

"You know?"
"Yes I know"
"I know you know"
"Yes, I know you know I know"
"Yes, I know"

Sidetrack:
"My name is Captain BearsBreath McKneeGrasper"

If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

Strictly, "had had" had been the right answer should be a separate sentence. Good try though.
