What's the point of this car?!

Brabus

It has road tyres, so much power that it would be scary off-road, etc, etc.

Article says
This superior performance necessitates the use of custom-tailored BRABUS Monoblock wheels.

Why's that then? I can't really see the point of any of these massive HP German cars at the moment. They seem to be in some weird HP race.

It's just compensation for the owner having a small willy.

Allegedly.

An afterthought - I really wouldn't want to do an emergency stop from 100+ in that car!

An ordinary car would be exciting enough, but in that thing...

I like this bit
"The body of the BRABUS G V12 S Biturbo is distinguished by sporty yet elegant aerodynamic-enhancement components."

It's abut as aerodynamic as a bungalow on wheels

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I see that I'm not alone in my view!

Basically - if I want to go fast down a motorway/autobahn/autoroute then I'd rather have the Mercedes that originally held this car's engine. It will be fast, comfortable, safe.

If I want to go up and down farm tracks, drive on ice and snow, etc. then I'd get a decent 4x4 (choose your favourite brand). It needn't be fast, but a decent bit of torque would be useful.

If I need to drive around town then a tidy little saloon would be fine.

Horses for courses - and you could probably buy all three for the price of that Brabus luxury van!

So this is the German companies effort of reducing (alleged) global warming is it? They should pile on the Tax on fuel like in the UK then see what happens.
