TBH I have never seen the programme ... only trailers for the show....
When I was raising my brood I never had the need. Just a good set of boundaries where the 'goal posts' were defined .... and adjusted as
they grew .... seemed to work for us ....
Anyway ... I did my 'time' on the naughty-step, and sent a flower in acknowledgement of the punishment being over....
I will accept that I was very fortunate to get away with only 20 minutes, if, as you say 1 minute per year .... with another flower!
