anyone built their own guitar amp

Sorry this is off topic but it I though one or more of you might have built your own guitar amp considering we all mike making stuff.

Thinking of doing it myself. Have read a few books on the subject but any pointers would be most welcome

I made my own a few years ago...

Built the PCBs including pre-amps, Pre-outs, effects and a HUGE power amplifier....

Much pain!

Built two valve amps from Madamp kits.

This is a little 2watt twin valve amp I built into an old '50s bakolite speaker.
