Cancer Research, Race for Life, Silverstone
I'm sure all of us have been touched by the dreaded C word at some point, as either a "victim" or close to somebody who's been
a "victim".
About 3 years ago a close collegues Mother had her first treatment and this was closely followed by my own Mother having chemo and radio after her
operation.
Then last year a different collegues wife was affected. There's seemingly no end.
So, my life's been touched and plenty of others around me.
One of my ex collegues and a really great girl is embarking on a Race for Life next month. If you've not heard of it and would like more info

Given the local one to me, and where Becky is running, is Silverstone (which has a connection to cars/locosts and hence locostbuilders) I thought

The minimum donation amount is £2 and even this can help Cancer Research with their war against Cancer.
I'm not sure of the logistics/arrangements for the day, but onlookers/support is welcomed and clearly those with a passion for motorsport may
welcome an excuse to visit the track or Grand Prix Racewear who have a nice shop there.
