He's getting better at it, I saw one where he was bouncing up and down and experimenting a while back. Always makes me think of Inspector Gadget

a weight shift heli what next...

there's one big prob with at thing, if the engine stops it will fall like a stone as the blades are too light, fixed pitch and have no free wheel hence no autorotate.

That's why he didn't go high.

Chuck a couple of large flywheel on there and it'll be fine.

Two rotor going in the same direction - what was there to stop the torque reaction. The Airscooter has contra rotating blades so that's easy.
