None of that stuff is too bad. I think ive had some of it before. We eat black pudding, haggis, pigs trotters, tripe, raw meat etc (we as in europeans).

Ive had some Asian colleagues over before and they were extremely reluctant to eat in our restaurants. It took me a while to suss out why. In China ive eaten nothing but good quality, freshly prepared, well balanced and fantastic food (and i dont mean the poo ethey serve in UK takeways). In UK our menus are full of over processed, fat laden poor quality rubbish. No wonder we have issues in the west due to poor diets.

I'm sure we have all eaten worse than that. Especially after a night out with the lads.

I was told by someone in the same street that they closed down a local Indian restaurant in his home town when environmental health found an Alsatian on a hook in the freezer. No idea if it was true though.

Insects are a major source of protein around the world (and red smarties get their colour from bug wings). If you see what they put in cheap sausages it's a lot more 'imaginative' than just the eyelids from a cow.

It happened at the 'Gate of India' in Runcorn High Street in the early 70s.
It wasn't found by the E.H. though.
A burglar broke in (to rob the bar I pressume) and found it hanging in the fridge. He was so insensed that he phoned the police anonymously after he left.
Imagine how pleased I was. I had had a meal in there the week before.

Note; Chris can we have a 'puke' smiley?
