Mobile phone recommendations

Having spent the last 15 years with a mobile phone provided by work I have always had an elderly, yet effective and free mobile phone. However, as part of my on-going mid-life-crisis, I now find that I "need" a shiney new phone of my own (probably helped in part by the kids now having to have a new one every year etc). I am also about to change job so my justification is that if I also have a personal phone I can actually switch my work phone off on holiday etc.
So, what would you guys recommend as a decent handset with all the bells and whistles?
Thanks in advance.

I guess it depends what you will use it for. Wbsites and music or good camera with some PDA functions.

My Nokia N73 has been good. Battery life not great with bluetooth switched on but decent camera, good calendar etc and quite good mp3.

Most phone companies have a site that allows you to check the functions you want then give you a list.

Just got a Nokia N95 with 8Gb of internal memory and an awesome 5Mb camera with Carl Zeiss lenses. Even has built in GPS....

Most technically advanced phone in the world apparently.... and top rated on the Gadget Show
