Any plumbers out there?

I've got a tiny 450mm x 400mm radiator which has rusted badly and by the looks of it could blow at any moment

When I find a replacement is there a way I can fit it without draining the system down? I've heard about using pipe freezing sprays - do these work or am I going to need my wet suit?

Cheers,
Raz

You can turn both valves off and just undo the couplings, you'll only lose the water in the radiator. It will be a bit messy, just put lots of rags down. Fit your new radiator and open the bleed valve to fill it with water.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
