Had to smile...

Parked my car in town this afternoon... shortly afterwards a driving school car turned up and attempted to parallel-park into the fairly large space behind me - took about 3 attempts, and eventually was 'abandoned' at an angle of 5 degrees to the kerb, and about 1 foot away.

And that was with the instructor driving!

Actually I think that's on the far edge of acceptable, iirc you've got to be 6-12 inches from the curb.

Yes - she was within the marked-out box, but really not tidy and shouldn't have taken 3 'shuffles' back & forth to get to that state!
