Motorising my Gate
I've decided to motorise the big wooden gate across my drive (its attached to the side of the house and is about 7 foot squareish) The problem
is, the cheapest motors are about £300 quid (they look like a glorified electric car aerial) and the price is about the same for one or a pair. Garage
door openers are way cheaper but i'm not sure if they'd work outdoors very well.
Anybody got any ideas for a Locost alternative version?

Wife or kids, just pull up and use the hooter.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
