What kind of drugs do you need to fall asleep while being tatooed?

Don't believe it for a moment myself - probably got home and parents went mental which led to some on quick excuse manufacturing.

I'd also agree that there's no way you'd fall asleep, more like pass out from the pain

Most tattoo artists will not tattoo peoples hands and faces anyway.
I would be suprised if the kid's telling the truth. She's had a photo done of it for his portfolio and looks perfectly awake to me....

Heh, I figured she was either lying, or had said she wanted stars in a certain area (between x and y) and he'd done just that.
It's worth mentioning, it's pretty easy to sleep through a tattoo, A lot of people find them very relaxing. but not on your bloody face,
it's too boney.
