The Environment Agency received hundreds of calls last Wednesday night at approximately 10pm from concerned residents with reports of mass flooding
right across the Merseyside area. A spokesman for the Agency confirmed the the floods were finally subsiding late on Friday, but there were renewed
warnings from much of the area again on Saturday afternoon. The spokesman went on to confirm that the cause of the floods was linked to thousands of
Scousers all pi$$ing themselves laughing after watching the football!!
