A tragic case. I do get annoyed at the use of the word "addicted" when it is not appropriate. Proffesional journalists should know better but then they rarely have any standards to live up to.

I'm clearly addicted to water, if I don't drink something with water for over a day I feel as if I'm going to die. Don't even get me onto air... can't live without that for more than 60 seconds.

People dying from drinking too much water isn't even particularly rare - sadly.

^^^ happens to a lot of swimmers and people in the sea too.
