Probably settle for your house then or your wife, how much do you like the jet ski?

Seriously though don't you have a contact number so you can ask? How did you find out it was in customs in the first place? Best way to resolve it is to either speak to them or better tell the company you ordered them from and get them to sort it, say you will contest payment till it is resolved.

i am 16, so no house or wife.

i brought the item(starter motor) through ebay, and teh seller gave me the tracking number as soon as he sent it. it was sent usps, so i have been tracking it and it says it in Into Foreign Customs.

and i realy want the starter motor as i can only use my other ski until this starter motor comes and then i will beable to use both.

Cant remember who usps use over here but they will contact you with the ransom demand including there "administrative" fee, once paid they will deliver, don't pay lost in oblivion.

A lot depends on what the seller as put on the invoice, new/old chances are they will at least stuff you for the vat.

Stuart_B - 29/5/08 at 05:01 PM

how do they contact you phone or post?

gods what a nightmare

RickRick - 30/5/08 at 06:57 AM

you can call up with your shipping number, i've no idea were you find the number, just call any parcelforce one and get them to transfer you, pay over the phone by card, and they'll post it out to you. i'd guess it's 17% of the value plus £6 shipping and £7 stolen as there fee.

David Jenkins - 30/5/08 at 08:05 AM

You usually get a card through the post, saying "go to your local parcel office, pay some money over the counter and the man will give you your package."

Guess how I know this...

Jasper - 30/5/08 at 12:03 PM

Look up your local Parcel Force office and give them a call. Parcel Force will have already paid the charge and probably sent it to your local depot who will then contact you.

I get stuff sent by USPS all the time and never a problem.

David Jenkins - 30/5/08 at 12:30 PM

Might not be Parcel Farce - I had to go to the main Royal Fail sorting office to get my package.

Stuart_B - 30/5/08 at 01:41 PM

it is being held at ipswich depot awating payment.

If the item is £18 or less then they don't charge any duty. If it's over that then there's a scale of charges depending upon what it is, plus VAT on the whole lot, then a handling charge.

Stuart_B - 3/6/08 at 02:49 PM

well my starter motor truned up today, i had to pay £23 total, no duty which it says on the outside it is $130??

but i am happy i got my starter.
