In the last 6 months of driving a particular road in Kent i have seen 4 cars end up in exactly the same ditch, here is the latest one.

Decent car as well. Not nice.
Bad road or bad drivers?
We have loads of roads around here that can catch people out but dont.

The road drops down quite steeply onto an area of marshland, its a sharp righthander plus because its marshy there is often a mist hanging around early in the mornings.
We've got a road like that near me.
Downhill into a tight right hander after a number of sweeping bends.
First time I came up to it, there was a landrover parked in front of the warning arrows and it was dark.
Relised it was a lot tighter than I had thought aimed at the apex braking as hard as I could and turned in hard when I hit the apex. On the grass,
back end out, somehow recovered it and with heart beating at about hundred MPH carried on somewhat more slowly.
Following day going the same way there was a car in the ditch which I hadn't even seen

They're either built like tanks or he wasn't going at speed when he went down the bank. Wing isn't even dented, light not broken. No
skidmarks on the road so he wasn't locked up which seems a bit strange unless it was wet/icy. The silver bit seems to be a bumper from a
previous victim.
I'm guessing they entered fog slowly, but didn't remember it was a sharp bend when they went straight on. Either that or black ice forms on
that bit of road.
If memory serves, the first car i saw was a KA which ended up on its roof, then it was a Transit, then an Astra Van and then this one. In the first pic you will notice the police tape hanging off the post.
A couple of months back in the dark I was on my way to see a mate who lives down a single track road. A set of skid marks led to to a sharp lefthander
but the marks ended in a hole in the bank & hedge decorated with broken plastic. It was very recent so I got out to see nobody was hurt &
found TWO cars in the field, but only one hole in the hedge.
They'd been racing & so close when one got it wrong the other just followed him!
