When fitting sky TV is a broadband filter required on the phone line part of the setup?? Or is it internal to the sky+ box??

We dont have a filter on ours, and have had no problems...

Cheers lads twas just a heads up question in case I might need one. I'll get one anyways just in case.

If it's just the sky+ box then you don't need anything. If you're getting sky broadband as well then you do, but the router comes with three filters in the box
