If you ever "got some in" the Union Jack Club.

Rudy,

It's a "couple" of days, rather than a pair

My wife works near Tower of London/Tower Bridge, and I know there are supposed to be some good, but basic and reasonably prices hotels around there. I'll get her to find out about them tomorrow.

PS - Sorry about my Italian

Simon

There may be a bunch of Lotus freaks coming over from Norway in the summer. If you do get any leads on hotels I would be grateful if you could PM me.

TIA

John

Got a good deal on lastminute.com with one of their "top secret hotels" where they don't tell you the name of the hotel before you book. But if you pick some phrase out of the description you can normally find out which hotel it is.

As expected, I completely forgot to mention it to SWMBO who's not back in office till Monday, did find these though!

Check for parking and rates. Never used any except had a works dinner in the Tower about 20 years ago. One of chaps I worked with threw up out of 14th? floor window

105 for covent garden sounds pretty amazing. noise?

geoff shep - 23/11/07 at 07:26 AM

Its not actually in Covent Garden obviously (like Ryanairs descriptions of airports) but fairly close. Walked past it the other day and it looked ok from the outside but some of them are pretty ropey inside. Did stay in the Kensington Close hotel (on Kensington High St and right next to the tube stn) for about £100 for a double and that included english breakfast (prices seem to be higher closer to Christmas)

ciao Rudy

I recently stayed at Travellodge Windsor Central.
Right next to railway station 35 mins into Paddington station. No congestion charges.

The hotel has a bar & serve food every night ( not normal for Travellodge )

I think current price is £60 but we got it for £26 / night .

Windsor itself has a lot to offer. the Castle, bars Etc.

Goda il vostro soggiorno
