Sounds like it will be pretty close.
Mate of mine (works on space based solar power) reckons they are the biggest threat to man-kind - forget war, pestilence, famine, terrorism etc. etc.
There's absolutely b*gger all we can do about them except hope that the moon's gravity picks them off first.

I'll bet that Bruce Willis and that guy who's name I can't remember are up in space right now preparing to drill a hole in the asteroid so that it breaks up and drifts harmlessly away.

I saw them practicing it in a documentary a few years back!
