Heads up guys.

After a tip off, I took a load of friends to see this last year ! Everyone agreed it was brilliant;

At the end of the show the whole cast came back on stage and explain a bit about themselves and the background to the show.

They also told us that they had been commissioned by the BBC to do a pilot for BBC3.

I never saw any pilot, but last night SWMBO spotted a trailer on BBC1 !

As in the other thread, it looks like a worthy successor to Father Ted. I hope it gets publicised so I don't miss it, there's always the iplayer though.

Went to see them at Edinburgh playhouse. 2hrs of PMSL absolutely great. Will need toned down for tv a bit i suspect.

Very funny clips. Apparently it got extremely high viewer ratings on RTE (Irish TV).

If you have Sky TV you can search for programmes up to a month (I think) in advance.

It didn't show up when I searched right now...

I found the date on Digital Spy forum but to try and clarify this I also found it on these other sites.

I can't believe that they all got it wrong but there again . . . . . .

It is my belief that the show is going out nationwide on BBC, but if it is being restricted to BBC Northern Ireland you can find it on Sky Channel 973

I really hope this is not going to be Sky only as I will not give a penny to Mr. Murdoch!

I will be gutted if this is the case as this was the funniest thing I had seen for years!

I have seen the latest trailers tonight;

BBC1, 9.00PM, Monday the 21st of February .

Well... I'm not 100% sure about the program, but it did make me laugh in quite a few places (especially the tazer!).

I like the way it was 'different' - open sets in front of a live audience, Mrs Brown walking between sets, talking to the audience, and so on.

I'll be watching next week!

It was funny but it would be funny without so much swearing, probably my only criticism. The format was done years ago by Sean Hughes in Sean's show and by Gary Shandling and it's funny when they involve the audience like when she said " It's a man dressed up as a woman ffs"

This is how it was done in the theatre, stage had two sets on it and cast wandered back and forth between them both!

Glad you all at least gave it a look-see.

Yes - the swearing jarred quite a bit for me too. It's only what I hear in the pub, but it did get in the way of the jokes during the program.

I'll probably watch it on iPlayer again, as my wife wouldn't be impressed!
