Since it started snowing all my missus has done is look through the bleeping window. If it gets any worse i Will have to let her in!

I walked into the lounge this evening and said to my wife: “I’m going to the pub. Get your coat on.”
My wife, delighted to be included replied: “Does that mean you are taking me with you, darling?” “No", I replied, "I’m turning the heating off”

Picked up a hot bit of metal in the workshop today.

It felt so good I picked it up again.

When on shop floor it has been known for me to put my welding gauntlets in the rod oven for a while, put them back on and toasty warm hands for a while
