Too clean?

I've just seen an advert for a soap pump that you don't have to touch.. So you never have to touch a germy soap pump again.

Too far? I always thought that when you touched the soap pump it was with dirty, germy hands.. Then when they're clean you don't have to touch the soap..

No wonder so many people have asthma and allergies to allsorts..

I watched that and thought, you touch the pump with dirty hands to get the soap out then you wash them with the soap thus killing the germs so no problem. Another solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

You are so right - people are going to ridiculous lengths to keep their environment "germ" free.

Whenever handling anything dirty in the workshop or farm my father who was a doctor used to say - "that's a good immune system booster" and he was so right - I never was ill as a kid whilst all the nambys around me were sick.

He just taught me to take normal hygiene measures and didn't like us using sterilising agents unless skin was broken.

Exactly

Now when my lad first went to nursery he was ill for a week, ok for a week, ill for a week. Now he's not been ill of any sort for a few months.
