I'm going to guess January 2009... which is when we've already had snow in 2009

Can I get my prize now pl0x?

I'm guessing January 2009 was last winter - since I seem to remember having a bit of a summer

I'll go with November 27th...........

ooh 27th, person closest wins an envelope, posted directly to them.

I reckon it will be after Yule before we see any.

Jan 2010 is my bet

Sods Law says the 13th of November, on the basis that the 1st snow fell last year on the same day that I was booked on a trackday.

Nearly bricked myself when the kids said "Dad, it's snowing. Are we still going?" That was the 4th of Nov, IIRC...

I'm hoping it's not 4 December, that's my birthday and I'm off up to the Lakes for the weekend with the missus. It could snow 5 December for a month and I'll just have to stay in the log cabin and abuse the hot tub until it thaws out then :-)

Is firts snow just the same as regular snow or is it some kind of special snow?

I just want there to be a meter or so of it in the Alps by Christmas.
