After being to France for several years maybe we want to go abroad.
So where to go?

Admittedly, my experience is limited to about a dozen visits, but UK weather is very much like Dutch weather: it can rain anytime. How about Italy - anywhere from Rome to the north.
I would like to see Cornwall, Stonehenge, st Michaels mount etc.
this year it was 37 degree in France, so going for a walk in the mountains wasn't there.
there must something to see, you live there....

We've just come back from Puerto Pollenca, up in the north of Mallorca.
Now, it was perfectly hot and sunny all week, and the location is lovely, BUT, bloody hell does it feel expensive there now. £15-30 each to eat out at
night, and as usual Spanish food is only average and most of the restaurants are half empty, all the (miserable) locals was complaining about the lack
of Brits there.
The Euro has made much of Europe like this now, where as before you'd go out and eat and not really think about the price too much, now you have
to hunt around looking for the cheaper places. I'll wait to see what the Euro is doing next summer before booking anything.
