in Canada if someone were to shoot a police dog, they would be charged with killing a police officer. Yet I'm sure that this'll be swept under the rug with a slap on the wrist for those responsible.

next door neighbour was a police dog handler. Knowing how he treated his dogs - there has to be more to this story.

Those blokes know the dogs save their lives and they look after them appropriately.
