That allowed customers who had been drinking to wander off into the night with their food and eat it as they stumbled home.
So that's the fool who expanded my waistline and caused untold fights after nights out with congregations of 'yoofs' not going straight home but hanging around in an inebriated state!
He was also credited with the later Pavement Pizza enjoyed by many dogs the morning after.
