Got weird problem with Youtube and also Facebook... may be connected, not sure.


You tube doesn't work at all:

This is with both Firefox and IE.6 (Win2000).

In Facebook, the basic front page of my profile works.... but then none of the functions work, can't accept Friend requests as the buttons aren't workable... the cursor doesn't even change when moved over them. Can't use the chat function as nothing happens when I click it. etc. etc.


Obviously two very important applications... I need them to work!


Needless to say I've tried the Flash upgrade and turning Java on as suggested by Youtube!


Any suggestions gratefully received!

All ok here James...Firefox and XP......

IIRC adobe did update their flashplayer recently.....

or

Check the flashplayer permissions..possible someone has disabled it for 'security'?

Hmmm, well played with the Norton Internet Security Settings again.

Both now work in IE. Just F'fox that's the problem!
