Anyone else notice how difficult it is to see the LEDs on these when you are outside. Adapting an idea I found when I googled the camera, I came up
with a solution to make them easier to see:
1. Carefully unscrew the case and remove the back
2. Check the position of the LEDs and mark the spots on the top of the removed back.
3. Make a small (2mm) hole above each LED. I guess you could use a small drill, but I used a small jeweller's flathead screwdriver and just
swivelled it to make the holes.
4. Clean up the holes, then put a dab of glue from a glue gun in each, making sure it goes right through.
5. Once the glue has hardened, trim any excess off the top of the case.
6. Refix the back of the case on and Bob's your uncle.
Cheers
Simon

Hi Simon, that looks like a worthwhile mod, I'm presuming the glue is just to seal the holes....?
Great idea, I used mine during my first test session this year in my new race car and the only issue I had was seeing the LED's when switching it
on in the car (the footage itself was great)
Just not sure I trust my self to work on something so small, I just know that when I put it back together it will never work again
