Rivnuts supplier in suffolk area
Does anyone know where I can buy Rivnuts in the Suffolk area.
Also what type do you use steel or aluminium? or should you match the rivnut type to the metal you are fitting it to, e.g. steel chassis rail so steel
rivnut e.t.c.
I have also been looking at reasonably priced rivnut tools but they only seem to be able to do the aluminium rivnuts, probably because they are made
from chocolate so I will probably be using the nut and bolt method as described on here unless I can find a decent one for a good price, has to be

Stuart,
I have a load of M5 and M6 Rivnuts, which i think are aluminium. How many do you need?
I got them from Wurth, as we have an account and a rep , who regularly pops in to work.
My rivnut tool was not a bad price. I could get you a price on one if you like. Or if its only for a few, you could borrow mine.
Cheers

Thanks for the offer Gary. I probably won't have to install too many but it will be over a long period of the build. If you wouldn't mind
getting me a price for one that would be good.
I have now ordered the rivnuts from the link in iiyama's post.
Cheers Guys
Stu.

Torque Control ltd
and the only ones where I could get M4 countersunk Ali rivnuts from

I have used Suffolk Fasteners in the past for loads of stuff and the guy is very helpful and has no problems with small quantities.

I use tifossi in devon.
just make sure you get the serrated type, easier to pull up and the serrations grip the metal the solid ones are a bas***d
to pull up and will snap a cheap tool
Tony
something like this will cost you about £60 but it's a pop riveter as well
