Stainless Exhaust Parts ?
I am in the process of fitting a 2.0 Fiat to my Lada.........(Yes Lada)
My daughters fiance is a tig/mig welder and has kindly offered to build me a full stainless exhaust system.
Who/Where is the best place for getting components from, ie a flange made up to fit the Fiat manifold, and component parts - twin merger pipe and
various bends/sections. ?
He is happy to build the whole system, but to take the hump out of it seeing as I am qualifying for mates rates, I dont want him spending ages doing
it.

He tells me he recently made up a manifold for bike carbs on his mates Clio....
Its his line of work Scott, not seen any of his work yet but Im sure it will be good.
He is resident welder in a paper mill, miles of stainless pipe apparently.
Bit of a petrolhead aswell, so we are Lada/Fiat buddies.

I've always loved the Lada Niva, wanted one for ages, but need a bigger 4x4 really!
As for that video, I know off-roading is a sport, but that couldn't have been good for that car!!!

Tough as old boots is the Niva...
Land Rover owners spend money polybushing their cars with harder bushes.
Niva owners dont need too !
Built for Russian dirt tracks
Awesome bit of kit off road, and generates a lot of smiles on the road.
Last winter , Leave the Saab at home and use the Niva.

Like I said, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm after a bigger 4x4 (not sure which one yet!) I would definitely go for one!
I need a car/jeep to be able to ferry round a young family (4doors), have plenty of space for camping weekends, and be able to tow and more
importantly launch a boat!

Mine is purely toy...
No good for family, or towing at all.
Full time driving is not an option, fuel consumption on a good day is 20mpg
Mine only has 2 Cobra buckets, stripped out interior, so is great for throwing crap in.
Your better off with something Japanese to hit all the buttons.
Came fourth in the rtv trial on my first go offroad in it, and yes it pulled the Nova out of the ditch.

Back to the reason for your post these people are very helpful, and do the complete range of pipe, fittings, bends etc, and there prices are not too
bad. I have used them for a couple of projects.

If you get stuck, we can cut a manifold flange for you, we'd just need a gasket as the template.
