Painting Wheels

I have a set of Mag wheels which are in great nick, but are just the wrong colour.

I don't want to powder-coat them as the shot-blasting process is a bit aggressive and there are protective coatings on the metal that I don't want to remove.

Thought I'd put them into my local spray-painter instead for a light rub and re-coat. Has anyone else done this and if so, how long can I expect them to last in comparison to powder-coat?

I had a set painted in standard carpaint a few years ago.
It is still as new.
And it was quite cheap.

Never used it myself, but I hear the Wurth products are excellent.

I've a set of Wolfrace Voodoo's thet need a refurb and was goin gto give it a go with the paint, then lacquer.
