MikeR - 14/11/04 at 11:56 PM

I'm sure i've got a workbench, just not sure where I left it!!!!! Seem to recall it was at the back of the garage but I can't see it for all the 'useful car building equipment' (aka crap) currently residing there!

My work space, but it does get a formal inspection every year.

And I would love to see someone try to get to it to steal something.

Dan

It looks to me like someone has been trying to blow the dors off your steel cabinet,or did the yanks miss again....................

scutter - 15/11/04 at 12:49 PM

LOL

Problem of using old cabinets, have to put new locks on and couldn't be bothered to grind off door coating.

Well, it's not my barn, sadly, but my car resides there (or bits of it from time to time):

Aaawww, that picture was embarrasing

phelpsa - 15/11/04 at 08:59 PM

P.S., there aren't any baby wipes in the box, probably a few bits of Mini or Mk2 escortand the wine is not mine

RoadkillUK - 16/11/04 at 07:33 PM

This is my workspace. Photo was taken a short while ago and now its full of brown leaves

Mr G - 17/11/04 at 10:56 AM

I bought the same gazebo in the summer reduced sale

Not that it got much use for its 'original' purpose of supplying 'shade' this year

i keep tidying, but it's amazing how fast it descends into a sh*t tip again

it's a good job it's a double garage cos if not, i don't know where i'd stand, let alone put the indy.

the fluorescent lamps and tubes are from when halfords got changed over, so got 6, but they're yet to go up. you can also see the locost chassis that my dad started to build, that's the rusty steel tubes you can see under the light fittings.

on the other side of the car is a load of halfords parts racking that was surplus to requirements, so brought it home. that's to go up aswell.

it's tidy at the minute, but who knows how long it'll last

Indy kid seems to be the only sane one amongst you!

A tidy garage is the sign of a deeply disturbed mind

(same principle as never trust a man with a tidy desk!)

indykid - 19/11/04 at 02:13 PM

you have to remember, the garage is not strictly mine. it's built in my uncle's garden, owned by my dad.

therefore, contained in the heap will be parts from:

10-15 mk2 cavaliers
2 mk3 cavaliers
1 toyota supra
1 isuzu trooper
1 landrover 90
1 mog 1000
1 mog traveller with mirrafiori engine chop
1 audi 90
2 sierras
1 austin montego
2 rover p6s
1 fiat 126
1 mk2 escort
1 mk indy
various yamaha bikes of 80s vintage

it helps to justify most of the clutter just about.

Cita - 19/11/04 at 05:39 PM

I was almost certain that Indykit's garage was mine untill i saw his car parked in there
The difference between me and my wife is that she's able to find ANY document from the last 10 years in a matter of seconds,i usually cant find a wrench i put on the workbench.... just moments ago

indykid - 20/11/04 at 08:46 PM

i tried vacuuming the carpet in the garage today, however it was short lived once i'd killed the vacuum. i now hve about 2 or 3 square metres of clean carpet.

now if i can just get my mum's dyson there.......................................................

tom

as the picture shows, i am organised, a bit Rescued attachment toolwall.jpg
