Does anyone have a user manual for the above, elelctronic or otherwise? I'd be interested in a peek or purchase.
Think it was aslo branded as a Snap-on Turbo 130.
Cheers,
Chris.

That is identical to a Clark 140 pre 1990 if it helps, just the colour and badging is different
Mark, thanks. I'll have a look on the web and see if I can find anything.
I have the Clarke 140E Mk2, what do you need to know?
I was mainly interested in the power settings and which setting best suited different guage steel. Also the maximum guage that it'll weld to.
Thought it would prolly be 4-5mm ish.

5mm is the max with max power with one pass. Using 1.6mm, I would use full power as the pass length is only 25mm. If you blow holes, adjust the torch angle to compensate, or trigger off for a split second to allow the weld pool to cool
Thanks for the advice. I've been using it quite successfully on 16swg on the second setting, mostly pushing the torch rather than pulling it. Cranked it up to the highest for some 3mm recently, which seemed to give good penetration, the heat effected area being about 10mm from the bead. Will give it a go on some scrap and see if a manage to make Swiss cheese from it.
