Plumbing big bottles to Clarke 151TE

First off I know I should be asking this on the mig welding forum but 1, I've forgotten my password and 2, I'm sure plenty of you know the answer to this one.

So, how do you go about plumbing from a regulator on a big bottle to a 151TE?

One of these should do it. The thin plastic pipe you use already plugs in the end of that

Thanks for that Tony. Just one predictably dim question. What's the 3/8" BSP or ¼" BSP choice about? My reg has just got a single barb push on + jubilee clip end on it and the thin plastic pipe is just that, a thin plastic pipe? I hate all this non metric stuff. Every time I end up with a choice of sizes I almost invariably get it wrong.

Errr, I don't know....

I bought my reg at the same time and I "think" the threaded bit screwed into the reg, I'm not sure and I'm not where the welder is ATM.

I'd take my reg in and ask

You should find that the barb on your reg is held on with a nut (3/8th or 1/4 Bsp), one end of the adaptor hose should already be fitted with a barb and nut to screw on to reg, the other end of adaptor hose has a push in fitting for the small tube to push into.
1/4 BSP nut should have a thread bore of around 11.5mm, 3/8 BSP around 15mm.

Here's a photo of the reg I've got. The gas outlet is threaded directly into the body of the reg with what looks (maybe) to be a tapered thread with an OD of approx 10mm. The nut part is pretty well 11mm across flats. The outlet is 5mm with a max OD on the barb of 6.5mm. Any ideas??

If not I've got a length of oxy/acetylene pipe which fits the barb a treat. I'll just cook up an adaptor to marry that to the thin placcy pipe. Does this sound OK?

Looks like 1/8th BSP, I think plan B is OK, I have simply pushed the small bore tube into the large bore on one of my welders and it holds OK, not a lot of pressure in the tubing at that end.
