My problem is that I think that is the height of fashion, not "Old Skool"

I like them because they have an almost split-rim look. I also thought they might be of interest because they are a relatively unusual offset for
such wheels.
For what it's worth, fashions come and go but style never goes out of fashion. They're a classic design like Peugeot 1.9 GTI and Lancia
Integrale rims - all imho of course.

I quite agree. Deep dish is the only way to go. Stuff IRS and Sierra offsets..
You can still get a bit of a rear deep dish with Sierra running gear
