Bumper Plugs - Fill those number plate holes! - Possible UK Group buy
computid - 12/2/15 at 09:36 PM

Hi All,

So I hate having the front plate mounted slap bang in the middle of my bumper on my BMW and I also hate that my dealer decided to drill straight into the bumper and then fit it with self tapping screws

The only solution I could come up with was to get a body shop to fill the holes and spray the bumper, quite expensive and time consuming!

Then I stumbled across these guys:

http://www.bumperplugs.com/

They make a small plug, sprayed to the colour of your car with apparently a 19 stage finish, which just goes in the hole and makes it look stock.

I was planning to order some (they're $27.95) but it's another $27.95 to ship them to the uk!

SO, I messaged them and they said if I can come up with a group order it'll be $27.95 to ship combined them regardless of how many orders I can get. This way we can split the shipping cost into much more manageable chunks.

If we get 5 orders or more then they'll knock 10% off the price as well

Anybody interested? Post up below if you are, if we get a couple of people I'll message them back to set it up.

Cheers!

Adam

why not just get some plastic screw caps and a touch up pen or spray can. Much cheaper

Also don't see the need to move my number plate from its designed position. Looks like a boy racers been at it

I can imagine it being a bit frustrating on something like a Beemer to have stray holes drilled, but to be honest if they're anything like this;

I'm not overly convinced they're worth the money? For that price I would expect invisible.

Don't BMW themselves do colour coded screw covers?

And I'm still trying to figure out what 19 stages there would be!! I think even Chipsaway don't have that many stages?

I think I would go for some sort of vinyl black stripe around the bumper if it was me, or silver if the car has an other silver trim.

I suppose it depends on the car colour though.

(they're $27.95) but it's another $27.95 to ship them to the uk!

Its a shame they don't make them a lot bigger, to cover a BMW entirely

Can only see a use for these in the states where front plates arent compulsory.

Having cars look symmetrical will never catch on....

I have a cheaper solution. Leave the plate where it's supposed to be and you can't see the holes.
