Have you got a points dizzy? If you have there are a couple of options, the Aldon Ignitor which is a magnetic pick up with all the bits fitting inside
the dizzy. The luminition kit has an external amp and comes in two varieties for different states of tune , it uses a photocell pickup. The Rover
version comes with the amp mounted either on the side of the dizzy or as a separate module, both versions use the mechanical advance in the dizzy so
are not any better than the Aldon or Luminition options. There is also a new electronic version that has curves adjustable on the dizzy I
haven't sen one of these yet but are likely to cost best part of £200!
If you do have a good points dizzy going spare at the end of this please let me know I need a new one for my Range Rover

YES
I'll try and find it later tonight. Will get the part number too- as caber says there are different types. Was going to ebay it as I don't
need it now, so if it's any good to you it's yours.

OK. It's a Lucas 35DM8 0784 and all the internals look in pretty good shape. Have U2U'd you with more details.
Cheers
