R1 carb to pinto block manifold

right i have obtained a pair of R1 bike carbs, now i need a manifold for it, i have rang bogg bros and they have quoted me £176 for a stainless steel manifold, and £79 for refurb the carbs the carbs ive got look to be in pretty good nick and seen to have been taken care of,

does anybody know where i could get a manifold cheeper than £176

Why only a pair? Or does 1 carb feed two cylinders, as per webbers etc.? You could ask 907 to tig you one.
And you should be able to clean them up yourself. They might need re-jetting though, and I have no idea what that costs.

That's not a bad price when you consider what's involved / investment in development.

I wouldn't do it that cheap!!

Yes

You get some 1/4" steel plate, and some tubing of the applicable diameter and wall thickness.

The manifold doesn't sound a bad price but I would forget the carb refurb.

Get them fitted and them work out what needs to be done. If the slides are free then they will work. They might need rejetting but this can be sorted once they are on with some needle drills.
