You must be joking, theyre as rare as rocking horse shit. i manged to get 1 a while back, cos they are aparently the diff to have for BEC's. Try KitFit, thats where i got mine. Or try i think the old 1600 sierra's.

diesels and auto's, possibly estates are where most low ratio dif's are found.

Ned.

Westfield's got them all.

http://www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/shop/product.asp?P_ID=144&strPageHistory=search&strKeywords=differential&numPageStartPosition=1& strSearchCriteria=any&PT_ID=all

There's a 3.36:1 recon for £335.11 or the 3.2:1 freelander lsd at £1259.99. 3 of those would sting a bit

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

thanks for the suggestions guys but still had no luck !!!!
and dont fancy the westie prices !!! although we have fitted three of the freelander diffs to customers cars ( cheaper source ) still £880 each !!!!!
not a solution to my immediate problem but something for the future a 2.3 190 e merc has 3.27 lsd as standard
plus has big enough output flanges to allow fitment of inboard brakes

regards

marc

Are they heavier than the sierra diffs though?

I have one!

It could do with a clean. Believed to be good. I bought it with some other bits from a friend, who would have told me if it was u/s. I have never fitted it or driven it.
how does £80 sound?

Also available a pair of shortened driveshafts/discs/calipers (calipers need overhauling.)

Cheers,

Terry

Marc,

You might want to ask Mark Fisher where he gets his Freelander diffs from. He has them new on his website for £275. Could be a typo, but worth checking out?
