don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Sounds like the perfect job for your new welder surely? That's what I'm planning to do for mine.

I made mine with a 6mm thick steel plate on the top, that way I have a small welding table which is easily earthed.

Have Welder..... Then make things with it!!!
Other than that, Why have you got a welder if you are not going to make it work for you doing all those welding jobs you couldnt do before you got a welder.

A trolly was my first item. Maks sure its sturdy enought to hold a decent sized bottle.
I've even fixed a broken Egg Whisk for the Wife. (Did warn her it could have been scrapped! - I got huge "Brownie Points" for that.

My welder is one of the few tools that is actually in credit over and above its purchase price.
Invaluable tool. Not used often now, but damn usefull for those little jobs you couldnt do without one.

Here's a thread about welding trolleys made of all kinds of bits.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
