wanted: ideas for wiper bezel tube
Just got a set of "longer" mini wiper boxes from CBS to improve the angle the wipers make with the screen.
I now need two short lengths of thick - wall plastic tubing to make the bezels to produce the angle I need. This tube needs to be 28 / 30mm outside
diameter and 15mm inside.
Or any other ideas would, of course, be gratefully received as always.

Find plastic pipe with the outside diameter you need.
Cut copper pipe to length, and wrap with electrical tape until tight fit in above.
Add sikaflex to seal and solidify

Option 2 - Get some 30mm bar, and get someone with a lathe to make them from metal..

Thanks for those ideas, "Reading Steve" sounds like a good idea - I had a go with the old Sierra handbrake sleeve last night which was
nearly ideal except the outside is ribbed!

They tend to be over different lengths and different angles so it might be a case of trial and error until you find the right ones.

Make some from dowel like a brush handle drilled down the middle and use them to make a mould then cast them in resin or mouldable plastic.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I used caterham ones (not sure they will give you the angle you want mind!)..
